Bio

Li Peng-Hsuan is a machine learning and natural language processing engineer at Taiwan AI Labs (AI Labs.tw). He worked on biomedical literature mining, polygenic risk, T-cell receptor binding, and single-cell analysis.

Peng-Hsuan has been a graduate student under University Fellowship at the Department of Linguistics, Ohio State University, advised by Dr. Michael White. He worked on paraphrase generation for virtual patient dialogues.

Peng-Hsuan was a research assistant at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, advised by Dr. Wei-Yun Ma at the Chinese Knowledge and Information Processing Lab (CKIP). He worked on word segmentation, part-of-speech tagging, named entity recognition, relation extraction, sentiment analysis, question answering, and knowledge graphs.

Peng-Hsuan received his M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees at the Department of Computer Science & Information Engineering, National Taiwan University, advised by Dr. Jane Yung-Jen Hsu at the Intelligent Agents Lab (iAgents). He worked on human activity recognition.

Peng-Hsuan worked as a contractor in the security industry for 3 years at Trend Micro and IKV-tech. He also has experience in college teaching and 3-year high school after-class teaching.
